Venba: Discover South Indian Culture and Food Through Upcoming Indie Title Releasing on Xbox Game Pass, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch

Indian cooking title Venba has announced its release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The game is also launching as a Day 1 title on Xbox Game Pass.

Prior to that, the developers had already confirmed that the upcoming title will make its way to PC and Nintendo Switch. And with the new announcement, players can now have a delicious experience on all modern gaming platforms.

Venba is being developed by Visai Games, a small Toronto-based video game studio. The title is a narrative adventure, where players are put into the shoes of an Indian immigrant mom, who lives with her family in 1980’s Canada.

As the matriarch of the family, players are tasked with creating mouth-watering South Indian food with authentic recipes derived from the region. Moreover, between all the cooking, players will also take part in an endearing storyline through branching conversations. The story delves deep into Indian culture and its important elements such as family and love.

Venba’s trailer gives us a glimpse at all the beautiful visuals of the food that players will cook and experience in the game. Along with that, the gameplay experience is enriched by an original soundtrack inspired by Indian musicals.

Venba is scheduled to debut on game libraries in Spring 2023.
