Looks like Varun Dhawan and Gigi Hadid have become great friends since their much-talked-about onstage moment at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) launch in Mumbai. On Gigi Hadid’s birthday yesterday, the Bhediya actor dropped a sweet wish.
Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram stories to share a viral photo of his NMACC performance during which he carried Gigi Hadid onstage and planted a kiss on her cheek.

Varun Dhawan wrote, “Happy birthday @gigihadid. Keeping shining and smiling,” with a heart emoji. Meanwhile, Varun celebrates his birthday today.
Varun and Gigi’s NMACC moment grabbed headlines. The actor had also addressed some backlash from netizens, revealing that the act was planned ahead of the performance.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan recently returned to Mumbai from London where he attended the Citadel world premiere with Samantha who will star with him in the Indian instalment of the spy series. The first instalment features Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden.
Apart from Citadel, Varun Dhawan is also set to star in Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The actor was last seen in Bhediya.
