Vanessa Hudgens is having the time of her life in the Philippines as she immersed herself into a series of cultural activities with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and explored more of Palawan’s picturesque sights.

Hudgens, along with her sister Stella and mother Gina, enjoyed various cultural activities during their Malacañang visit last March 30, as seen in photos shared by Marcos on her Facebook page.

The photos showed the “High School Musical” star interacting with folk dancers, as well as Marcos’ son Vinny.

The First Lady also appeared to have treated Hudgens and her family to various folk dance performances, where the latter was even taught how to dance the Tinikling. By the end of the video, the Filipino-American actress was spotted posing with the First Lady.

“Wrap up video : cultural activity with Ms. Vanessa Hudgens,” Marcos said in the caption.

On Instagram, Hudgens learned the correct way to pronounce Palawan, which is “Pa-laa-waan,” where she shared a video of herself learning how to properly say the tourist destination.

“So it’s pa-LA-wan. Not PA-la-wan. Regardless- it’s magical #foreverphilippines,” she said in the caption.

The “The Princess Switch” star then channeled her inner “island gal” after uploading glimpses of what looked like to be an island hopping tour and hotel visit with her mother and sister.

Hudgens was earlier appointed as the global tourism ambassador for the Philippines during a courtesy call in Malacañang Palace, which was bestowed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco, and Office of the Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications Secretary Paul Soriano.

The actress, best known for her appearances in the “High School Musical” and “The Princess Switch film trilogies, is in the country to film a travel documentary directed by Soriano.
