Three siblings all under the age of 10 who sparked a major police search after failing to return home on Saturday have been found.
Three siblings who sparked an urgent police search after failing to return home on Saturday have been found.
Nine-year-old Geordi Finlayson-Walker and his sisters, eight-year-old Sahara and five-year-old Havana, were last seen on Lakeview Road at Umina Beach around 11.15am on Saturday.
Police were notified after they failed to return home, with family and authorities desperately concerned for their welfare due to their age.
NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb shared the good news with 2GB host Ben Fordham on Monday morning.
She said the trio had been found near Coffs Harbour, about 475km north of where they were last seen days earlier.
Police believed the children may have been travelling with their father Anthony Walker, aged 58, in a white 2010 Toyota Aurion sedan with NSW registration BNR-21J.
He was described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 167cm tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion, brown hair and green/hazel eyes.
Police issued an SMS geo-targeting alert for the Umina Beach area as part of their search, meaning texts from +61 444 444 444 were not a scam.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact Brisbane Water Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
