UPTET Result 2021: Result for 20,000 candidates withheld, check details here – Times of India
These candidates, on the order of Allahabad High Court, are allowed to take the examination but their results are now withheld.
On April 8, the ERA, UP, had announced the result of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2021. Secretary ERA, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, said, “Altogether, 39% candidates have qualified the primary level TET while 28% have cleared the upper primary level examination.”
He further added that out of 12,91,628 candidates registered for the primary level TET held on January 21, 11,47,090 appeared in the examination. Of these, 4,43,598 (38.67 or 39%) have passed.
Likewise, for upper primary level TET, 7,65,921 candidates appeared in the examination out of 8,73,553 candidates who were registered. Of these, 2,16,994 (28.33 or 28%) have been declared successful, the secretary added.
In the revised answer key released on Thursday, it was decided to give marks to all the candidates for five questions of primary and three questions of upper primary level.
According to the government order dated December 22, 2021, the revised answer key was to be declared by Exam Regulatory Authority on February 23, 2022 and the result was to be declared on February 25, 2022. However, the results could not be declared due to the UP assembly elections 2022. But, with Yogi Govt 2.0 being sworn in and basic education minister Sandeep Singh taking charge, a proposal for declaration of UPTET-2021 results was sent to the state government by ERA recently.
