UPSC CAPF AC 2023 Exam: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, CAPF 2023 on August 06. Candidates who are going to appear for the exam can check the exam pattern and previous years’ question papers here.

UPSC will hold the written examination for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The UPSC CAPF AC exam will be held on August 06, 2023.

Selection Process

The CAPF (AC) selection process involves three stages:
(i) Written Examination: The written examination will comprise of two papers; Paper-I will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and Paper-II will be held from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
(ii) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be summoned for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. Those candidates who meet the prescribed Physical Standards will be put through the Physical Efficiency Tests.
(iii) Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview/Personality Tests to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
