Upcoming Bollywood movies releasing in July 2023: Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, Neeyat and more

After an eventful June, July is here and it’s leading up to some of the most exciting movie releases of the year. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will arrive this month to bring classic Bollywood romances back to the big screen. The month will also see Sonam Kapoor in a movie for the first time in a very long time. Her upcoming film Blind isn’t the only detective drama in July 2023. Neeyat, starring Vidya Balan, will also drop on the same day. Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s first onscreen collaboration Bawaal releases towards the end of the month.

Neeyat

Who doesn’t love the idea of Vidya Balan playing detective? Neeyat will see the actress in a Knives Out-esque murder mystery. The film revolves around an exiled billionaire and his closest friends and family members who become suspects in his murder case. The star-studded cast of the film includes Ram Kapoor, Prajakta Koli, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi and others.

Blind

The second detective movie on this list is Sonam Kapoor’s Blind. The film marks the actress’ comeback to acting after a long hiatus. The film revolves around a visually impaired detective solving the case of a missing girl. It leads her to a dangerous serial killer who targets women. The thriller also features Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey and others.

Tarla

Huma Qureshi is ready to whip up a storm as a very convincing Tarla Dalal in her upcoming film Tarla. The film is a biographical drama that follows the life and career of the celebrity home chef. The film promises a wholesome, uplifting watch.

Bawaal

Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have been shooting at several locations for their upcoming film Bawaal which tells you a little about its ambitious production. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari reportedly follows a small-town man who falls for a beautiful woman and wants to marry her for her social position. The film will be the first to have its world premiere at the iconic Salle Gustave Eiffel Tower.

If you miss Yash Raj’s cinema full of chiffon sarees and snow-capped mountains, you’re in luck because Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani promises just that.
