UP board English paper leaked: Exam rescheduled on April 13, district inspector suspended – Times of India
Ballia district inspector of schools Brijesh Mishra has been suspended. The exam has now been rescheduled to April 13, 2022 and will be conducted from 8 am to 11.15 am. Close to 5 lakh students are affected with the UP Board Class 12 English paper cancellation.
Additional chief secretary secondary education, Aradhana Shukla said the series 316 ED and 316 E I of the English paper was leaked from Ballia district before the examination. “English exam has been cancelled in all 24 districts where the question paper of these two series was sent. The matter is under probe,” Shukla said.
The 24 districts where the English paper was cancelled are – Ballia, Etah, Baghpat, Badaun, Sitapur, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Chiktrakoot, Paratpgarh, Gonda, Azamgarh, Agra, Varanasi, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Jalaun, Mahoba, Ambedkarnagar, and Gorakhpur.
Barring these 24 districts, the English exam will be held in other districts. The new date for the English exam in these 24 districts will be announced later, said UPSEB chairman VK Pandey.
UP additional director general of police, law and order, Prashant Kumar told TOI that an FIR is being registered in Ballia district in connection with the UP board paper leak while the STF will look into the larger conspiracy causing the leak.
