Uncle Bryn’s house from Gavin and Stacey in Barry has gone up for rent
Co-created by James Corden and Ruth Jones, who also played characters Smithy and Nessa respectively, the beloved sitcom followed two families from Billericay and Barry Island.
Viewers can now get a taste of what life is like for the Gavin and Stacey stars by snapping up Uncle Bryn’s actual home on Trinity Street.
The red-bricked terraced, which boasts three bedrooms and a private garden, has been listed to rent for £995 per calendar month at estate agents Chris Davies.
But if fans are looking for something more long-term, the iconic home is also available to buy for £212,000.
Gavin and Stacey originally ran from 2007-2010 with three series.
The cast reprised their iconic roles for a hotly-anticipated Christmas special in 2019, which broke records when 18.5million people tuned in on Christmas Day, making it the biggest single comedy episode of a series since records began in 2002.
Several cast members have publicly said they’d be down for another reunion, with cast member Larry Lamb saying it would be ‘cruel’ not to give the fans another instalment after the last episode ended on such a cliffhanger with Nessa proposing to Smithy.
James, 44, recently sparked a glimmer of hope a reunion could be on the cards after revealing he had met up with Ruth, 56, over Christmas.
‘It is whether we decide to get into a room together and honestly I could not tell you what the chances are of that. We both have to be ready and right,’ he explained to The Sun.
Other cast members included Joanna Page and Matthew Horne, who played the titular characters, and Alison Steadman.
Gavin & Stacey is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
