Unannounced PlayStation AAA PC Port to Be Released This July – Rumor

The latest PlayStation Showcase has come and gone, and, despite some great announcements, many were disappointed by its lack of first-party games announcements. Among the announcements people were expecting to see were new PC ports reveals, and it seems like at least one of them was meant to come during the showcase.

As reported on the ResetERA forums, The Snitch, who proved to be extremely reliable in the past, revealed that there’s an AAA PlayStation port that’s coming to PC in July. The leaker did not add anything more on the matter, so we do not know what game is finally getting ported to PC. It could be anything from Ghost of Tsushima to Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, or even Horizon: Forbidden West.

Interestingly enough, The Snitch also suggested that they knew about other announcements that were expected for this week’s PlayStation Showcase but ultimately did not make it into the event. Inside Gaming’s Tom Henderson suggested the same, saying that Sony needs a second showcase this year to show everything they are working on and that will release in the future. With the PlayStation 5 console selling extremely well now that there are no more shortages, it was not surprising to see Sony focusing on the immediate future with games coming in the next few months, like Final Fantasy XVI and Spider-Man 2, as they had no reason to show all of their hand right now.

If there’s indeed a triple-A PlayStation PC port coming in July, its announcement shouldn’t be too far off in the future. Which former PlayStation exclusive game do you expect to see on PC in the near future? Let us know in the comments below.
