UKPSC Forest Guard result 2023 declared: 1856 qualify for PMT and PET, check cut-off marks here – Times of India
Out of the 12,000 candidates who appeared for the exam held on April 9, 2023, a total of 1856 candidates have successfully qualified for the next round of the selection process. The next round comprises the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Endurance Test (PET), which will be conducted later.
The UKPSC Forest Guard exam was conducted offline and included questions on general knowledge, science, and mathematics. This exam serves as the gateway for candidates aspiring to secure the Group C post of Forest Guard in the Uttarakhand government. The selected candidates will enjoy a pay scale of Rs. 5,200-20,200 along with a grade pay of Rs. 2,000.
The role of a Forest Guard entails various responsibilities such as patrolling the forest, preventing forest fires, and apprehending poachers. It is a crucial position that ensures the protection and conservation of the state’s natural resources.

- Other Backward Classes: 63.0097
- Other Backward Classes/Uttarakhand Female: 57.1424
Candidates who have qualified for the PMT and PET rounds should stay updated with the official website of UKPSC as the commission will soon release the admit cards for these tests. The dates for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Endurance Test will also be announced in due course.
