UK hotels with outdoor swimming pools that you can book during heatwave

 THE UK is heating up, with temperatures set to soar past 20C this weekend.

If you fancy a staycation while staying cool, we’ve rounded up the best hotels in the country that have their own outdoor pool so you can take a dip.

Gara Rock, Devon

Located in Salcombe, Gara Rock’s outdoor swimming pool has uninterupted views of the sea.

Not only is it heated, but you can take a cocktail made from local Salcombe gin to relax on the sun loungers.

Also at the hotel is an indoor pool, cinema room, Elemis spa and restaurant, as well as a mixture of hotel bedrooms and self-catering cottages.

King Street Townhouse, Manchester

One of the few outdoor hotel pools in a city, Manchester’s King Street Townhouse has theirs on the seventh floor.

With great views of the city, the pool is part of the hotel spa which includes a steam room and “relaxation area”.

Only guests can access it with 40 rooms at the hotel, although there is also a cinema and roof terrace to pass the time at.

The Scarlett Hotel, Cornwall

Located overlooking the Cornish beach, The Scarlett Hotel has an outdoor pool.

It’s a natural, reed-filtered swimming pool with a hot tub right next to it.

If you don’t quiter fancy being close to nature, there is an indoor pool too,

The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne

Also known as The White Palace, the hotel has a huge outdoor pool which is heated to a balmy 30C.

First built in the 1960s, it reopened in 2015 to welcome guests again.

The five-star hotel also has amazing views of the seaside as well as an indoor pool and spa.

Cowley Manor, Cheltenham

Cowley Manor is just a 15-minute drive from Cheltenham but set in the rural Cotsolds countryside.

The outdoor swimming pool can be found at the on-site spa, which also has an indoor pools, steam room, sauna and gym.

Otherwise guests can enjoy walking around the 55 acres, or in the summer, attend open-air shows.

Maison Talbooth, Essex

Boutique hotel Maison Talbooth has a huge outdoor pool in the middle of the resort.

Three of the rooms overlook hte pool is you want to be one of the first to go for a dip.

Guests can use the outdoor pool as well as the hote tub and tennis court.

180 House, London

London has a number of hotels with outdoor pools, most of which are on the rooftop, with 180 House (run by the team behind Soho House.

The pool has 360 degree views of central London although has a covering for when the weather doesn’t play along.

Make sure you are friends with a Soho House member though, as you’ll need them to gain access.
