UFC 271: Bloodied Silva de Andrade choke opponent UNCONSCIOUS after HORRIFIC cut
UFC bantamweight Douglas Silva de Andrade survived a nightmare of a first-round and a sickening cut to pick up his second win on the bounce.
The Brazilian locked horns with American Top Team standout Sergey Morozov early on Sunday morning on the prelim portion of UFC 271 in Houston.
And he secured one of the biggest wins of his UFC career by choking his Kazakh foe OUT COLD in the second round.
The MMA vet, unlike Morozov, looked very tense early doors and it showed with his striking.
And he eventually found himself on his back fending off vicious ground and pound after being dropped with a nasty uppercut.
Morozov immediately went to work and opened up a horrific cut on the side of Silva de Andrade’s head with a nasty elbow.
Silva de Andrade weathered the storm but ate a beautiful spinning back kick to the body before being taken down.
Silva de Andrade came storming out in the second and dropped Morozov with two nasty rips to the body.

And Morozov found himself back on the canvas courtesy of a huge right hand after a brief interval following an accidental eye poke.
The jacked and confident Silva de Andrade then landed a picture-perfect spinning back fist and followed up with two nasty knees.
A beautiful elbow sent Morozov back to the canvas and prompted Silva de Andrade to take his back.
And after jostling for position, he sunk in a nasty rear-naked choke that separated Morozov from consciousness.
An elated Silva de Andrade said in his post-fight interview: “I love you Houston. Yes, nice, let’s go.”
He added: “I had a hard first round, but i came back and did what I had to do. So that’s the Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night bonus.
“I deserve $100K Dana White. Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night that’s the bonus that I want. I’m waiting for the [next] opponent.”
