Tuchel has already told Manchester United how he would improve the players
Thomas Tuchel has already explained how he would deal with the Manchester United players if he was to take over at Old Trafford.
United are currently looking for a permanent replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sacked last year. Ralf Rangnick took the job on an interim basis until the end of the season at which point he is set move to an advisory role.
Manchester Evening News understands that Ajax’s Erik ten Hag and PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino are the frontrunners to become the next United manager. However, pundits including Jamie Carragher and Paul Scholes have called on the Reds hierarchy to call the current Chelsea boss to discuss the vacancy.

Tuchel has won the Champions League and Club World Cup since arriving at Stamford Bridge, however his future is unclear after sanctions to the Blues’ owner Roman Abramovich rocked the club behind the scenes. His contract runs out in 2024 but the German may be unsettled leading to the potential for United to profit.
It is clear that if Tuchel was to take the job, he would have to deal with a lot of big personalities. In an interview with BT Sport, Tuchel explained his managerial style.
He said: “They are also guys, once standing as a six-year-old with a ball at the beach or on the street. So find what drives this guy, find this little guy in the superstar and then take the right approach.
“Of course be straight, be honest. I want to have a connection with my players and give guys responsibility.

“It is not possible that players just take care of themselves – when you’re a big player you must take care of the dressing room. You can be close and you have to speak honestly with each other and I try to be friendly, but not to be friends so this is maybe the thin line that you have to create.”
