Tsitsipas makes bold play for Margot Robbie
Greek world No.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas surged into the semi-finals of the Australian Open defeating Jiri Lehecka 6-3 7-6 6-4 – and then making a bold play for Margot Robbie.
The 24-year-old star, who is looking to breakthrough for his first grand slam victory after falling short in the 2021 French Open final, once again endeared himself to the home crowd by saying he’d like to buy a house in Australia after his career is over and open a school in Victoria if he won the tournament.

“Australia is such a great country. I like a lot of Aussie things,” the third seed said.
“One of my favourite actresses comes from Australia — Margot Robbie.”
Commentator Jim Courier prodded.
“Are you pitching right now?” he said.
“Are you making an offer?”
Tsitsipas didn’t shy away.
“It would be nice to see her over there one day,” he said.
Courier continued to press.
“So you’re officially extending an invitation to Margot Robbie,” he said.
“I just want to be crystal clear here.”
Tsitsipas had one word.
“Absolutely.”
