Here are some of the buzziest web series that made waves in May 2023.
Created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, Dahaad was one of the first Indian web series to premiere at the Berlinale Series competition. The show starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and others revolved around a cop solving gruesome murders. The show made noise at its international premiere and once it hit streaming, audiences lapped it up.
Taj Season 2: Reign of Revenge (Part 2)
After the success of the first instalment, Taj returned with the second part of its second season in May 2023. The show starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Naseeruddin Shah, Aashim Gulati and others is a rendition of Mughal-e-Azam that made headlines for its rich world-building and inventiveness.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
Queen Charlotte arrived to cure fans of their Bridgerton hangover after the first and second seasons. The spin-off series chronicled the life and times of Charlotte who married King George who was on the brink of mental illness. Critics and fans alike called the show a better and more mature series from Shondaland.
Who doesn’t love drama? The hit reality TV series revolving around LA’s competitive real estate market, Selling Sunset returned for a sixth season in May 2023. The show followed everything that went down after Chrishell’s much-talked-about breakup with Jason.

After To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, fans were vying for a deep-dive into Kitty’s life and they got it in the form of XO, Kitty. The show starring Anna Cathcart, Sang Heon Lee and others continues to trend for its cute premise and feel-good factor and we’re well into June.
