Travis Barker reveals health crisis that will ‘keep him away’ from Kourtney
TRAVIS Barker has revealed a health struggle that will prevent him from being around Kourtney Kardashian temporarily.
The drummer is currently touring with Blink-182 but it seems future shows may be in jeopardy.
On Friday, Travis, 47, confirmed that he tested positive for Covid.
He took to his Instagram Story, sharing a photo of a test with two lines on it.
Pregnant people who get Covid are more likely to experience complications, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
As such, Travis and Kourtney, 44, will likely have to spend some time apart while he recovers.
The father of three did not share any more details about his diagnosis or how long he expects to be in quarantine.
Blink-182 has not yet released any kind of statement about the future of their tour, which is currently taking place.
Travis previously had to step away from the band, forcing them to postpone several shows, when his wife underwent emergency surgery on their unborn baby.
KOURTNEY’S HEALTH SCARE
On September 6, days after the band broke the news that Travis would be taking a step back, Kourtney announced the scary news.
She posted a pic of herself lying in a hospital bed while holding her husband’s hand.
The Hulu star captioned the post: “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.
“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.
“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
Kourtney went on: “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.
“I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
ON THE ROAD
Travis returned to tour on September 9.
He broke his silence about Kourtney’s health scare on the same day as her, thanking God and the doctors for their hard work.
The punk rocker wrote on X: “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well.
“I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”
Almost a week later, Kourtney confessed that she was missing her man.
She posted a short video of Travis on her Instagram Story, gushing in the caption: “I miss my husband.”
In the clip, Travis was shirtless while playing the drums on stage.
He appeared to be covered in sweat and there were red lights and spotlights around him.
