Amanda showed her fans how she uses the crocodile clips on a hotel coat hanger to fasten the curtains in her room together.

This simple hack blocks out all the light which would normally slip through the tiny gap between the curtains.

Amanda said: “If you don’t know this hotel-room hack, then you aren’t as crazy about light leakage as I am.”

Fellow travellers said they were blown away by Amanda’s clever tip.

Melissa said: “You are a rookie traveller until you know this trick.”

A Canadian man said: “Damn, that’s friggin’ genius. Next time it’s hanger time.”

Ryan said: “Holy cow, I am writing this down.”

Amanda’s hack comes after travel expert Susan Bugg revealed that she always brings her own teabags when she stays in a hotel.

But Susan also says that when a hotel offers designer teabags, she stuffs them in her suitcase.

Perhaps Susan and Amanda’s tips helped the 28 pornstars who filmed X-rated footage in a Newcastle Travelodge, The Sun revealed.
