Tori Kelly ‘rushed to hospital with blood clots after collapsing at dinner’

Grammy Award-winning singer Tori Kelly has been rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital after collapsing while out and about in Hollywood, according to reports.

The 30-year-old star was having dinner out with her friends in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday night when she suffered a medical emergency, a source claimed to TMZ.

Doctors are reportedly treating Tori for multiple blood clots around her vital organs, which could potentially be “really serious” for the singer.

The US media outlet has claimed that Tori remains in hospital as doctors work hard to break up the blood clots.

Sources went on to suggest the singer was in the middle of her meal when her heart began to beat faster than normal.

Tori is said to have informed her friends of the health issue, before passing out.

One source claimed the performer was “out for a while” as she was driven to the LA hospital.

Fans have taken to Twitter to send their support to Tori after the worrying news emerged.

One person wrote: “lord pls protect tori kelly. she and her entire family needs your healing.”

Another added: “I still can’t process this, just when she was about to release her new EP, this is so scary and sad. Queen you better stay strong @torikelly.”

“Praying sm for Tori Kelly I’m so scared my heart hurts,” a third Twitter user commented.

Tori first rose to fame when she began posting YouTube videos showing off her singing talents.

She went on to compete in American Idol back in 2010, reaching Hollywood Week.

Tori released her debut album, Unbreakable Smile, in 2015, which reached the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her work on her first album was rewarded with a best new artist nomination at the 58th Grammy Awards.

She later won two Grammys for her second studio album, Hiding Place.

Tori has famously teamed up with Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Timberlake for collaborations.
