1. The last two winners of this race started from 8th (Esteban Ocon) and 10th (Max Verstappen) on the grid.
2. Max Verstappen is the first driver in over two decades to win five consecutive races from pole position. One more win from pole this weekend could see him equal Michael Schumacher’s record of six which he set in 2000-01.
3. If the Dutchman finishes on the podium it would be his 12th straight podium in F1. Only three other drivers have registered more podiums in a row – Michael Schumacher (19), Lewis Hamilton (16), Fernando Alonso (15).
4. If they secure a win at the Hungarian GP, Red Bull will become the first team in history to record 12 consecutive race triumphs.
5. It would also make them the second team after McLaren to win the first eleven races of a season.
6. A podium finish for either driver would make the team the fifth in F1 history to achieve 250 podium finishes.
7. McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes have the most pole positions here with eight poles apiece.
