‘Too many mistakes!’ – Erik ten Hag’s shout to his Man Utd players in training
ERIK TEN HAG might have just realised the size of the job he’s got on his hands at Manchester United.
Footage has emerged of the new manager already getting frustrated with his stars in training.
All of United’s stars, except from Cristiano Ronaldo whose return has been delayed for family reasons, are back at Carrington for pre-season.
And it hasn’t taken long for Ten Hag to get stuck into his squad.
The Dutchman put the players through their paces in a one-touch passing drill and already it seems as though some are struggling with his demands.
In a clip posted to Twitter of the session there is a shout from the sideline of: “Making too many mistakes!”
It’s unclear if the criticism is being directed at one player in particular or the squad as a whole.
But it came after calls for the players to pass with their right foot went unnoticed, and seemingly at a time when Scott McTominay was involved.
Red Devils fans on social media praised the intensity under the new manager, with one writing: “Ten Hag yelling too many mistakes, I love it.”
Another said: “This intensity of criticism needs to continue from the coaches. Players need to start holding themselves accountable for not playing up to standards rather than brushing away the past.”

One player who did impress though was club captain Harry Maguire.
The England ace returned for pre-season on Monday shortly after arriving home from his honeymoon.
After a difficult campaign last time out the defender will be eager for a fresh start under Ten Hag.
And what seemed to be a shout of “that’s good Harry” from the sideline when the defender had his turn in the drill is likely to have done his confidence the world of good.
