To groom aspirants, Army organises a mock Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Mendhar – Times of India

JAMMU: To groom the Agniveer aspirants for upcoming recruitment rallies, Mendhar Gunners under the aegis of Indian Army organised a mock “Recruitment Rally” at Mendhar.
PRO Defence Jammu Lt Col Devender Anand said, “A training capsule is already being run by India Amy from last one month where these aspirants are trained everyday for physical and written examination.
“A total of 66 aspirants attended the rally. The youth attending the rally expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for providing them the facilities and resources for training.”
Col Anand said, “Some candidates who are part of this capsule have already appeared in police and CISF recruitments and cleared their physical tests.”
“All the mandatory physical tests required for recruitment including 1600m run, chinups, pushups followed by medical examination and documentation check were carried out to give the aspirants an idea of the general procedure of the rally,” said Col Anand.
“RMO of the Indian Army also conducted a lecture on physical and medical requirements for the recruitment.”
PRO Defence Jammu further informed that Recruitment Rallies for Jammu province are scheduled to start in October and this mock rally will help and prove beneficial to the aspirants.
