TNPSC Recruitment 2023: Registration begins for 761 Road Inspector, apply here – Times of India

Tamil Nadu Road Inspector 2023: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the post of Road Inspector in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department included in Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Engineering Subordinate Service. Interested candidates can fill and submit the application form on the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
The online registration for Road Inspector recruitment exam will remain active from January 13 to February 11, 2023. The exam will be conducted on May 07, 2023 in two shifts. Paper-I will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Paper-II from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. TNPSC aims to fill a total of 761 vacancies for the post of Road Inspector through this recruitment drive.
Important Dates

Age Limit
All candidates (except SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute widows of all categories) should be lesser than 37 years of age as on 01.07.2023.
Educational Qualification
Must possess an I.T.I. Certificate in Civil Draughtsmanship from a Government recognized institute, provided that preference shall be given to the persons possessing a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Note: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Application Fee
The candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 150. Also, an examination fee of Rs 100 has to be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment
Note: SC/ST/PwD/Destitute Window are exempted from fee payment.
Selection process
The selection will be made in single stage, based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. A tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced on the commission’s website. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for final selection through counselling method.

Step 2. On the homepage, go to ‘Recruitment’ then select ‘Notification’
Step 3. A new page will open, click on the link that reads, “ROAD INSPECTOR IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYAT RAJ DEPARTMENT (TAMIL NADU PANCHAYAT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING SUBORDINATE SERVICE)”
Step 4. Now register yourself and fill the application form
Step 5. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee, if any
Step 6. Submit and download the form
Step 7. Take a printout of the same for future reference
