He received medical attention on the field, suggesting a potential tear.

“They’re not good signs at all,” said Fox League’s Corey Parker.

Foran earlier combined with David Fifita to set up winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira on the left edge in the fourth minute.

It was later confirmed that both players would not return to the field with Jayden Campbell and Erin Clark slotting into the spine.

On the opposite side, Cowboys speedster Murray Taulagi was ruled out of the game with a potential medial ligament injury.

The Maroons flyer did not return after half time, appearing ginger in the sheds.

Veteran James Tamou’s try pinched the lead for North Queensland in the 45th minute and the visitors never trailed again.
