Tipping Point viewers were convinced that one contestant who appeared on the game show today (March 29) looked just like a star from Only Fools and Horses. Many fans instantly thought that contestant Joe, who is also a teacher, looked exactly like the hit sitcom’s lead character Rodney Trotter.
Fans of the show poured to social media to rave about Joe’s likeness to the much-loved TV icon. One person said: “Joe reminds me of Rodney” whilst another added: “Joe channelling his inner Rodney Trotter”. A third jokingly chimed: #TippingPoint Joe = Poundland Rodney.”
Joe, alongside Anne managed to give a worthy performance and safely made it to the second to last round without being eliminated. Some fans were quick to criticise the hopeful contestants performance but others leapt to his defence.

“All the keyboard warriors slating Joe .. at least he’s giving it a go, where are you all hiding?!,” one said. “I salute you Joe, one of the funniest contestants ever on #tippingpoint,” another one said.
Tipping Point is a TV staple, airing each weekday evening at 4pm. The show, hosted Ben Shephard, sees contestant answer questions to win turns on an arcade push-penny machine. For each correct answer, they are awarded coins which will hopefully help them win the cash prize at the end.
Many fans were also in hysterics over Joe’s answer to a geography question. When asked to name the three states that begin with the letter “A” aside from Alabama and Alaska, Joe opted to answer the question saying Florida.
Tipping Point continues tomorrow (March 30) on ITV at 4pm.
