Tina Turner reveals advice for younger self in eerie interview before death

Tina Turner revealed the advice she would have given her younger self — just one month before her death.

“I would tell myself to stay strong and continue wanting more and fighting for it all!” she exclaimed in an interview with British Vogue published last month.

“It will come, and it will be worth the wait!” she added.

Turner’s death was announced Wednesday. She died in Switzerland at the age of 83.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner,” a post on her official Instagram page read.

“With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly,” the statement continued.

In her British Vogue interview, Turner also revealed her ultimate secret to a “life well-lived.”

“What does well-lived mean?” she asked. “My life has been full, but with lots of sad times that I now forgive and strive to forget.”

“Maybe that’s the answer: to keep moving forward, to let go, and aim to fill your life with love. That is where I am now and I am grateful.”

In 1962, Turner married Ike Turner — a relationship she later claimed was incredibly abusive.

They divorced in 1978. Ike died of a drug overdose in 2007.

In 2013, she wed music producer Erwin Bach.

The two dated for 27 years before they married.

Turner is survived by her two adopted sons, Ike Turner Jr., 65, and Michael, 63, according to Parade.

Turner’s son, Ronnie Turner, died in December at the age of 62.

Her eldest son, Craig Turner, died by suicide at the age of 58 in 2018.
