TikTok user finds worst Macca’s in Australia
A TikTok user just wanted some McNuggets after a long night out but instead stumbled into what they’ve branded as the “worst McDonald’s in Sydney”.
A night out has revealed what one TikTok user has dubbed “the worst McDonald’s in Sydney”.
Sharing footage taken from a 24-hour McDonald’s in Sydney’s CBD at 4am on a Sunday morning, the video showed multiple tables filled with leftover food, half-eaten burgers, chips and take out packaging.
“We just wanted nuggets after a long night out,” wrote TikTok user @silllysusssybakaa.
The post has attracted over 4550 likes and 350 comments.
Since the post was shared, many TikTok users have blasted the “disrespectful” behaviour of the customers, saying they should have cleaned up after themselves.
“They were probably super understaffed and it would have helped if people exercised initiative and common decency and cleaned their own table,” wrote one user.
“It’s not the worst Macca’s in the world, it’s the worst customers, shared another.
“It’s fair to say that people who leave their empty rubbish on tables were not raised properly,” wrote another.
Other comments came to the defence of diners, claiming the bins at the fast food outlet are normally full.
While @silllysusssybakaa claims to have found the worst McDonald’s in Sydney, and maybe even Australia, it’s undoubtedly trumped by a horror find in a London outlet.
Grim footage captured by another TikTok user, @McOldKentRoad showed earthworms writhing in the drain of a soft drinks machine.
According to a spokesman for the chain, the station was immediately closed and underwent a deep clean.
“We immediately closed the drinks station and our hygiene team identified the cause of the issue which was fixed before a deep clean was carried out,” they said.
“The area was inspected by external specialists and no drinks were served to customers until we were sure that the issue was fully resolved.”
