Three mind-blowing new iPhone tricks you must learn
YOUR iPhone has just been upgraded with some clever new tricks.
The latest iOS 16 update adds loads of great features – including a long-awaited typing trick.
TikTok tech whiz @kaansanity has shared some very clever hacks you’ll definitely want to know.
First, make sure you’re using the latest version of iOS.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone to check.
iPhone iOS 16 trick #1 – Lock Notes with Passcode
You can now easily passcode-protect your Notes app.

That’s great, as you might be storing private info in there – like birthday gift ideas or a personal diary.
Open Settings and then go to Notes.
From there, you’ll be able to set up a passcode for notes.
It’s also possible to hold down your finger on a note in the Notes app and specifically lock an individual note.
iPhone iOS 16 trick #2 – Multiple stops
You can now add multiple stops while navigating on Apple Maps.
It’s possible to add as many stops as you like.
That makes it very easy to plan a complicated journey on Apple Maps.
It means it’s now much easier to ditch Google Maps for its Apple rival.
iPhone iOS 16 trick #3 – Haptic typing
Finally! It’s possible to get “haptic” feedback when typing on an iPhone keyboard.
That means you’ll feel tiny vibrations when you tap each character.
It’s a trick that’s been available for years on Android.
But the clever feature has finally come to iPhone with the latest iOS 16 update.
Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics and then toggle Haptic on for your iPhone Keyboard Feedback.
