Samantha Markle is not on the “same page” as her father, Thomas Markle Sr, regarding their reconciliation wishes with estranged daughter Meghan Markle, an expert has suggested.
The Duchess of Sussex’s older half-sister made her stance clear as she sat before cameras for an exclusive tell-all with Australia’s Channel 7, according to behavioural analyst Bedros Spidey Akkelian.
Samantha was united with her father Thomas Markle Sr and brother, Thomas Jr, to speak about their past with estranged Meghan, marking the family’s first on-screen reunion since Meghan married Harry.
She made several bold claims about her half-sister Meghan throughout the interview and appeared to heavily disagree with reconciliation wishes communicated by her father, a body language expert noted.
According to Bedros Spidey Akkelian, who dissected Markles’ body language during the spotlight discussion in a YouTube clip, Samanta appeared “past the point” where there is any hope of a reconciliation.

During the interview, Samantha was asked whether she felt it was possible to put the “water under the bridge” and advance her relationship with Meghan.
“I don’t think she would do it without a motive,” responded Samantha.
Spidey suggests the extract is telling of Samantha’s feelings towards her half sibling, adding: “I don’t think there is any part of her who believes Meghan is capable of not being the worst thing in the world.
“I think for her, her […] position in the [feud] isn’t even a consideration because it is just not an option.”
In a YouTube clip, the behavioural analyst highlights another extract from the interview, where Thomas Sr shares his belief that a reconciliation through Harry would be entirely possible.
Samantha, the expert points out, appears to be on a different page from the rest of her family in the segment.
“We have a serious disagreement here [that there is any hope of reconciliation with Meghan.]” he explained. “I think she’s past the point where there is any hope.
“She doesn’t think that Harry could or even wants to fix this situation. It’s not so much could Harry [fix the situation] – it’s ‘he won’t and doesn’t want to.’”
Spidey added: “I think she is never going to be on that same page [as Meghan’s dad and brother]. I think for her, she and Meghan are too far gone.”
Though the footage appears to support Spidey’s comments, he points out: “There is no behaviour or collection of behaviours that will ever allow you to know for a fact that someone is lying or being deceptive.”
Though little is known about the relationship Samantha and Markle had growing up, the Duchess gave a rare glimpse into her relationship with her half-sister in the Netflix docu-series Harry and Meghan.
In it, she claimed not to know Samantha’s middle name or date of birth and has not seen her in over a decade.
Earlier this year it was announced that Samantha was suing her younger half-sister for defamation and injurious falsehood during Harry and Meghan’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
