Founded by Janis Tello, a single mother of two with no formal design training, the LA-based brand has enjoyed subliminal success since its launch, driven by the mission to create shoes that weren’t only stylish, but also conscious of their carbon footprint. “With fashion being the second largest global polluter through mass production, we only wanted to produce what is ordered. With Covid and delays associated with closures and restrictions, we are now going to stock some of our best sellers in order to meet consumer demand and keep up with these unprecedented times,” shared Tello in an exclusive with Emirates Woman.

Now, Femme LA continues to enjoy subliminal success, driven by their mission to create beautiful and sustainable pieces that empower women from all over the globe. At the moment, the brand is currently available in major western retailers such as Revolve, Intermix, and End Clothing; but have recently expanded to new horizons, partnering up with Cul-De-Sac, The Podium, in Manila.
