Whether tourists want to avoid an irritating tan line or just prefer to sunbathe in the nude, it can be a struggle to find a suitable nudist beach.
A new ranking from the swimwear team at Pour Moi, has ranked the world’s best nudist beaches.
The team analysed reviews for nude beaches all over the world to find this year’s top spot to be naked by the sea.
Although it didn’t take the top spot, Spain was ranked the best country for nudist sunbathing, with four beaches included in the top 20.
This year’s best rated beach was a “fantastic” piece of coastline on the popular Floridian coast in the USA.

Florida’s Haulover Beach Park grabbed the top spot with the team celebrating its “calming blue waters” and “white sand”.
A tourist from the UK ‘astonvillan’ wrote on Tripadvisor: “Fantastic naturist beach” and said it “retains a natural setting”.
Another tourist ‘Jonathon S’ wrote: “Miles and miles of clean sandy beach. Great clothes optional watched over by lifeguards and patrolled by park staff to dissuade pervs, voyeurs and over enthusiastic photographers.”
The beach is the largest nudist beach in the USA and attracts over a million visitors to its shores each year.
Europe’s best nudist beach was Red Beach on the stunning island of Santorini in Greece. The team said the beach’s lava rocks offered some much needed privacy.
Although none of the UK’s naturist beaches made the hotlist, there are a few spots for staycationing nudists.
Tourists could check out the naturist beach at Studland Bay in Dorset or Brighton’s Naturist Beach.
