The estate is fabulous and its also not far from spots worth seeing, such as Warminster, Stonehenge and Bath.
There is also a spa on site, for those after some downtime.

What is there to eat and drink at Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa?
The restaurant is lovely – not cheap, but the food is amazing.
I had pork belly with celeriac at £26 and my other half had a steak with a side of £6 truffle fries.
This is also a great place for afternoon tea.
At £29 per person, it isn’t bad value with generous portions.
And don’t leave without breakfast – I had one of the best eggs benedict of my life here.
What are the rooms like at Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa?
They’re not your typical standard square box – the 34 rooms and suites are spread across a series of grand or small staircases.
All of them have been modernised with stunning wallpaper and soft velvets with chic bathrooms.
Every nook and cranny has been filled with quirky ornaments or books.
My room was the cheapest Cosy Room but still had a king-sized bed, VOYA bath products, homemade shortbread, a flatscreen TV, Dyson hairdryer and views of the Wiltshire countryside.
