The Toronto Star unveils its new newsroom at an invitation-only event

We’re making the news. On June 14, Toronto Star publisher Jordan Bitove welcomed friends, family, government officials, civic leaders and advertisers to toast the official opening of the Star’s new offices at The Well, otherwise known as 8 Spadina Ave. Well-wishers packed the newsroom for the open house, where they saw photos highlighting the recent 130th anniversary of the Star and meeting rooms named after two legendary publishers: John Honderich, whose association with the organization spanned six decades, and Joseph Atkinson, whose editorial principles still guide the newsroom.
