The New Apex Legends Meta Will Continue With Season 12 Legend
The Apex Legends meta is changing and will continue to evolve in a big way according to Garret, a well-known leaker data-miner within the community.
As Season 11 of Apex Legends has now reached the halfway point, fans are eager to know what the next season has in store for them. Thanks to previous leaks we already know that Mad Maggie is rumored to be the new Season 12 Legend.
But there’s one important element coming with the new Season 12 Legend that is already being implemented in existing Legends, and it’s completely changing the meta and the way we play.

A pattern has begun emerging in all of Apex Legends’ playable Legends and was first spotted by Garret, a leaker and data miner within the community.
Garret noticed that all of the recent Legends included in the new Seasons have some form of scanning ability, regardless of whether or not they are classed as a Recon Legend. Both Horizon and Fuse are able to see people trapped in their ultimate, whilst Valkyrie can scan people whilst skydiving, and Seer can simply scan people within his vicinity, much like Season 11’s Legend, Ash.
This is a feature that is completely changing the way many Apex Legends players play, especially in the final circles where some would simply hide. Instead, many players are being forced to engage due to the fact most of the newer Legends have scanning abilities, a feature that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
It’s looking highly likely that regardless of what Legend Type Mad Maggie is in Season 12, she will be equipped with some form of scanning ability. This is being dubbed as the new meta, with Garret stating that Apex players will need to adapt to being scanned constantly. Make sure to check out his full video below for more details.
