The most ‘Tiktokable’ restaurants in London revealed
Eating out has become more about the overall experience, rather than just filling our bellies, with people dressing up and getting stunning pictures in the prettiest eateries.
It’s no surprise that most of the viral restaurants in the UK are in London, but which restaurants are the most ‘Tiktokable’?
A list of the most ‘beautiful’ and ‘aesthetic’ restaurants in the UK were taken from online articles and then the number of relevant hashtag views on TikTok was recorded for each by Betway, creating a definitive ranking.
Top of the list was the one and only Circolo Popolare, the extremely popular and stunning Italian restaurant in Fitzrovia.
Known for its wisteria-covered ceiling, walls lined with countless bottles, and cosy little booths, the restaurant has amassed 21 million views.
There seems to be a lot of hype around the lemon meringue pie and truffle pasta, so definitely give them a taste, but be mindful you must book.
The next most Tiktokable restaurant is a rather unique dining experience – London in the Sky.
If you haven’t heard of this adrenalin-inducing meal out then we aren’t quite sure where you’ve been.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or a sunset dinner suspended 100ft off the ground at the O2.
You’re strapped in while you enjoy a three-course menu made with seasonal ingredients, and there’s even some gluten-free options available.
There’s no wonder it’s amassed 9.5 million views on TikTok.
Placing third on the list is Ave Mario, which is part of the Big Mama group just like Circolo Popolare, with 8 million TikTok views.
The funky red, black and white interior is another swanky backdrop to delicious Italian food.
Sketch in Mayfair ranked fourth. It can be found in an 18th-century townhouse with stunning powder pink and mustard interiors.
Sit on one of the many comfy sofa booths and enjoy a classic afternoon tea, dinner or drinks, but beware this one isn’t cheap.
The restaurant boasts 7 million TikTok views but getting in on the hype with cost you a pretty penny.
Rounding out the top five was Clos Maggiore, a modern French restaurant, which has 3.9 million views.
The ceilings are covered with white flowers and the homey log fireplace makes for a cosy atmosphere while you enjoy a rather sophisticated menu.
Bacchanalia, a beautiful Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in Mayfair, ranked sixth with 2.6 million TikTok views – but make sure you dress smart and elegant for this one.
Amazonico, a Latin American restaurant, and Jolene, a loft-style bakery and cafe, ranked seventh and eighth – with 1.8 million and 1.7 million views, respectively.
Joint ninth was Dirty Bones, an American restaurant and cocktail bar, and EL&N, the pinkest cafe you will ever see.
Be aware that Dirty Bones only takes cash but the positives are that it’s dog-friendly and halal.
Last on the top ten list is the Aqua Shard with 1.4 million views. The modern British restuarant boasts panoramic views of London from the iconic Shard building on the 31st floor.
