It’s the final of The Masked Singer UK 2022 and, at long last, Robobunny has been unmasked!

Tonight saw Robobunny, Panda and Mushroom compete for the title of season 3 winner.

Sadly, Robobunny just narrowly missed out on the crown.

Behind Panda’s mask was none other than Mark Feehily from Westlife, who was a hugely popular guess amongst fans online.

Despite delivering a fabulous performance, it wasn’t enough to get Mark enough votes from the studio audience.

However, he performed a stunning duet with first Masked Singer winner Nicola Roberts, as Queen Bee.

Judges Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross were left totally stunned when the mask came off.

Jonathan Ross predicted Ronan Keating underneath the mask, while Davina expected to see Charlie Simpson from Busted.

Rita was really excited, though, as a Westlife superfan and after guessing Mark was behind Robobunny for a number of weeks.

The boy band icon admitted ‘it was a challenge’ singing behind the mask, but he had a little lever built into his hand so he could control Robobunny’s mouth.

He also laughed how different it was, since he’s used to just standing still with a microphone on stage.

When asked what he’s enjoyed, Mark said the experience has ‘allowed me to explore my voice,’ and he has always loved having a laugh.

Furthermore, the musician loves watching cartoons with his child, who is the reason he’s doing the show.

No one knows, however, what he’s been up do, and he’s had to make excuses to miss band rehearsals.

Jonathan joked that people would think Mark was having an affair, to which he said, ‘I have to get home quickly!’

Following his reveal, Mark performed without his mask, belting out powerful vocals to Run by Snow Patrol.

This series has seen some incredible unmaskings, including Destiny’s Child icon Michelle Williams, Keane’s lead singer Tom Chaplin and sporting legend Michael Owen.

The Masked Singer is available to watch on ITV Hub.
