The Last Of Us HBO Series Episode 8 Preview Out; Troy Baker and Cannibals Attack Joel and Ellie and More

The Last of Us fans recently got to see the seventh episode of the HBO series. Like all the other episodes, this episode was also a great watch. However, many players of the game were confused about where the story for the seventh episode was adapted from as it was different from the game. The creators of the Last of Us series episode 7 clarified that the story was an adaptation of the Left Behind DLC of the game.

Now the fans are wondering about what they can expect from the upcoming episode 8 of the series which airs this Sunday, March 5. HBO has already released a preview for episode 8 and from that we see that the story will be following the events of the original game again. It is worth noting that this story has some spoilers for the show and the game. It is best recommended for gamers and pop-culture fans to skip the story if they have not played or watched the series till this point.

The Last of Us Episode 8 Preview details

The preview starts off with showing Joel still recovering from the injury that he was dealt with in the sixth episode. Joel and Ellie are then approached by a group of survivors and an intriguing personality lurks amongst them. This personality is none other than Troy Baker, the voice actor for Joel in the game.

This group of survivors wishes to bring Ellie and Joel to their group, but Ellie is hesitant about it. We also get to see Ellie’s growth as a trained killer as she is seen using her rifle to hunt down deer. If the show’s events match the game, Ellie should end up trading this deer with the survivors for medicines for Joel.

The preview then shows the duo being approached by another individual that offers them protection from the group of survivors who are not what they seem to be. If the adaptation from the game is true to the core, then this group of survivors are actually cannibals, that are out for mowing down Ellie and Joel.
