The Hollywood star you forgot Michael Bublé dated

As far as Saturday night entertainment goes, it doesn’t get much better than ITV’s Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. This classic family show sees everyone’s favourite pint-sized Geordies entertain audiences with prize giveaways, hilarious pranks and audience interaction in abundance.

The show entered its 18th series this year, and fans are still delighted to tune in and watch every week. Canadian singing sensation Michael Bublé is set to appear on tonight’s show. The singer is famous for his astounding vocal range and also his knack for a festive hit, but what many fans probably don’t know is about his understated, but noteworthy romantic life off stage.

Michael Bublé, 46, has admitted that he suffered terribly after his son, Noah, 7, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. The singer has said that his wife “picked him up” following the ordeal. Michael spoke on Carpool Karaoke to James Corden in 2018 about the whole experience.

The Grammy Award-winner told the presenter that he was initially the glue holding the family together, but his wife Luisana quickly took over that role. “When this all started, I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us and to be positive,” the 43-year-old said.

“When they got [the cancer] out and the chemo was done and they said, ‘We did it, it’s good, he’s okay,’ I fell. I just fell. My wife picks me up now.” The couple received the devastating news about son Noah back in 2016. Noah was only three-years-old at the time when he was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Before Luisana, Michael was dating actor Emily Blunt. However, the pair split up in 2008. The star is well known for her roles in The Quiet Place, The Devil Wears Prada and Looper, among others. The star now has a 19-month-old daughter Hazel with husband John Krasinski, who is well known for appearing in the US version of The Office.

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is next on ITV from 7pm this Saturday (24 March).
