The genius travel hack for families staying at Haven holiday parks this summer
HAVEN holiday parks have revealed a genius travel hack that will make staying at their resorts much less stressful.
Summer holidays are just around the corner, with plenty of Brits planning to stay in holiday camps like Haven again this year.
While holidays are supposed to be relaxing, finding your way around your resort can add some unwanted stress to your getaway.
However, staff from the holiday camps took to Tiktok (@haven official) to show guests a clever way in which they can quickly find get their bearings.
In a video, they described the trick as “a Haven holiday hack everyone needs to know”.
A Haven staff member is seen getting his phone out and accessing Google Maps from inside of his caravan.
He zooms in to where the blue dot is on the map, showing his location.
He then holds down on the blue dot, bringing up a new menu on the screen, where he selects the “label” option.
This allows users to “add labels to places so they can easily find them on maps”.
The man labels his accommodation as “my caravan” meaning he can find his way back to his room, should he get lost on the site.
The video has been seen more than 1.6million times, with plenty of people impressed with the idea.
One wrote: “We need to this so we can find our way back lol.”
Another said: “I’ll remember that for my next holiday.”
However, a third added: “Isn’t half the fun walking round looking for it?”

Meanwhile etiquette expert William Hanson explained how holidaymakers can charm cabin crew into getting free upgrades on a plane.
