The Chase’s Mark Labbett calls himself ‘Skinny Beast’ after weight loss
Mark Labbett, 57, expressed his joy at his changed lifestyle and weight loss as he posted about the decrease in his clothing sizes.
Mark, also known as The Beast, tweeted: “Picking up my skinny suits sometime this week. DJ and two pieces, each 54 long jacket and 40/34 trousers.
“Will post photos when I get a chance to wear them at a gig #skinnybeast.”
The Chase star added: “Shirts down from 22 inch collar to 18.5.” (sic)
He mentioned that his previous suits were “58 long and 46/34”.

Fans on Twitter responded with: “Well done you, I know dieting isn’t easy. Congrats young man.”
Others added: “Way to go on your health journey, Mark!”
Other fans were concerned after host Bradley Walsh, 62, revealed he worried about Mark.
Last week The Beast appeared to have a sore throat during the show.
The TV personality brushed off his comment, “You don’t sound very well”, as he resumed his usual role of chasing the four quizzers aiming to win a cash prize.
Mark’s transformation comes after he showcased a previous weight loss of 10 stone in January last year.
Back in 2003, as a full-time teacher, Mark shared his heaviest weight of 29 stone.
On Instagram, the Tiverton-born star revealed that doctors had told him a gastric bypass or band wouldn’t work on him because “the sugar would go straight through it”.
He later revealed that he removed the substance from his diet after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2016.
He decided to undergo significant lifestyle changes to prevent his health from deteriorating further.
Captioning a photo, he said: “I have prioritised my overall health and fitness and have been on a real-life weight loss journey losing nearly 10 stone since my diagnosis.”
Last summer, Mark shed weight whilst he had Covid and therefore lost his appetite.
In 2021, he added how he remained fit thanks to his furry friend.
Speaking on ITV’s The Pet Show, The Beast shared how his golden retriever was his “personal trainer”.
The lively puppy, Baloo, is also his motivation, as they exercise together regularly.
The Chase airs on ITV1 at 5pm each weekday.
