The Chase flooded with complaints after Bradley Walsh’s ‘patronising’ comment
The Chase viewers were not happy this evening after Bradley Walsh delivered a ‘patronising’ comment.
Contestants Kenny, Erin, Lewis, and Charlotte were up against Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty in a bid to win some money on the popular ITV quiz show.
Charlotte was first up but was sadly knocked out before she could make it back to her team.

Kenny soon followed and then Erin. They successfully returned and managed to bank £12,000 between them.
Last up was 19-year-old Lewis who Bradley praised for being a ‘good player’ for his age.

Many were not furious over Bradley’s wording with one person writing: “Bradley patronising the young contestant”
Another said: “Good for a young player #thechase”
“Whats age have to do with knowledge?” another said.
“Why does Bradley Walsh always seem shocked when young players have any semblance of intelligence? So patronising,” another commenter said.
Another echoed: “Just say “really good player” Bradley, the ‘for 19’ is insulting”.
Lewis made it back for the final chase round.
