With so many different streaming platforms and cable offerings to navigate, choosing what to watch has never been harder. To make things easier, here are our best tune-in tips for the week ahead.

MONDAY

Better Call Saul

Remember that feeling you had when you realized there were only a few new episodes of “Breaking Bad” left? Call this a case of déjà vu. While fans of this spinoff will be excited to see what happens after the shocking mid-season finale, and the promised return of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), it comes with a heavy price: the end of “Better Call Saul.” The series’ last six episodes begin tonight. Am I the only one hoping for a Gustavo Fring origin story next?

As for what actually happened to him? This Netflix special will likely just leave you asking more questions.

FRIDAY

Persuasion

Netflix continues to bank on the idea that there is still an appetite for period pieces and, after the success of “Bridgerton,” who can blame them? Their latest entry is this adaptation of the Jane Austen novel. Dakota Johnson (“50 Shades of Grey”) plays Anne Elliot, who reconnects with a former love interest (played by Cosmo Jarvis). The show promises to be a contemporary take on the classic tale and we are here for it.

Netflix

King of Coke: Living the High Life

If there was ever a real-life version of “Breaking Bad,” this might be it. In this true crime story, audiences will meet Larry Lavin, a young dentist who managed to secretly build a multimillion-dollar cocaine empire in the 1980s. Lavin’s affluent client base of fellow dentists, lawyers, stockbrokers and other yuppies broke the stereotype of cocaine users, and few knew about his moonlighting as a narcotics dealer until his practice was raided in 1984.

Disney Plus

Forever Summer: Hamptons

Set in the upscale area of Long Island, this docusoap follows a group of college kids from different backgrounds who all work at a seaside restaurant. From there it’s the typical stories of teenage angst as we follow their hookups and breakups with copious amounts of alcohol being consumed in between.

Prime Video

The Rehearsal

Nathan Fielder (“Nathan for You”) returns to TV with this new series that explores what one man will do to reduce the uncertainties of everyday living.
