Texas bakery famous for warm cookie delivery opens Denver outpost
A beloved Texas cookie company is now delivering warm confections directly to Denver doorsteps.
Tiff’s Treats, which originated in Austin in 1999, opened a new location at 1147 N. Broadway, on Oct. 8. The store marks Tiff’s first in Colorado, as well as its first west of Texas.
In its home state, Tiff’s Treats is something of a household name for serving up baked-to-order cookies that arrive warm and gooey with an optional side of milk. Founders Tiffany and Leon Chen decided to bring that luxury to Colorado as they continue expanding the company throughout the United States. Their spot near Civic Center Park has the ideal mix of businesses and residences to support cookie delivery, the owners said.
“Denver is influential, providing a great first location to introduce Tiff’s Treats warm cookie delivery to the Mountain West. And Denver is such a vibrant city with an exciting culture that reminds us a little of our home city of Austin,” the Chens said in a statement. “We have been looking forward to opening here for some time and are thrilled with the reception so far.”
Tiff’s Treats currently delivers anywhere within a 12-minute drive of the bakery, such as the Capitol Hill, Speer, Lincoln Park and Five Points neighborhoods. For an extra $16.50, drivers will deliver as far as Northglenn, Aurora and Highlands Ranch, and the Chens hope to expand the delivery area in the future.
Tiff’s Treats joins the ranks of other warm cookie companies in Denver, such as Insomnia Cookies, Crumbl Cookies, The Flour Shop and more. Tiff’s operates more than 80 bakeries between its home state, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia Tennessee and now Colorado.
