Tesla Releases Cybertruck-Inspired Cyberbier For $30 A Bottle

Will you drink beer from an electric car company? Elon Musk’s Tesla offers a Cybertruck-inspired alcoholic beverage named Cyberbier.

It comes in a jet-black bottle with sharp edges, looking like a dark crystal. Also, it boasts a sleek “glow-in-the-dark Giga watermark.” At the time of writing, it is available to select European countries in bundles of three worth €89.

That is roughly $97.18 per pack of three, making each bottle of Cyberbier worth around $30. Would you like to crack a cold one from the world’s most famous electric vehicle brand? Read further to learn more about Tesla’s futuristic beer.

What is Cyberbier?

The Cyberbier announcement came near the end of March. Consequently, it may seem like an early April Fool’s joke.

Yet, Tesla’s official website dedicated a product page to it. Here’s how it describes the unique alcoholic concoction:

“Tesla GigaBier is designed to emulate the form of Cybertruck while honoring the 500-year tradition of German Reinheitsgebot beermaking.”

“Enjoy this limited edition pilsner-style beer brewed in Berlin with our exclusive strain of Cyberhops and notes of citrus, bergamot, and sweet fruit.”

“Each bottle features a seamless gloss black sleeve with a glow-in-the-dark Giga watermark. Prost!”

The Reinheitsgebot is the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516. The old version requires brewers to use only barley, hops, and water.

In 1906, the Purity Law included yeast as a required ingredient. That is why the website only lists four ingredients: yeast, malted barley, water, and Cyberhops.

Critics say following this tradition doesn’t always create great-tasting beer. Still, the Cyberbier’s bergamot, citrus, and sweet fruit notes seem appealing.

The exclusive strain of Cyberhops makes you wonder what that is! Moreover, you must be at least 18 years of age to buy.

The website also asks you to confirm your age before viewing. Also, you may only purchase Cyberbier in packs of three.

At the time of writing, it is only available in specific European countries. Perhaps Tesla will allow more orders if the alcoholic drink sells well.

Elon Musk is the richest man on Earth, so he has numerous fans and haters worldwide. Believe it or not, many people had negative comments about Cyberbier!

Nevertheless, celebrities must know how to handle criticism properly, and that’s what he did. The Tesla CEO poked fun at his haters on April 2, 2018.

A week earlier, reports said Tesla stock lost over $4 billion in value in a day. Consequently, they predicted that Tesla would postpone its Model 3 production goals again.

The company would also need more capital to stay afloat. In response, Musk haters claimed the electric automaker is at its end.

Elon Musk took the opportunity to prank these people with a few tweets. Here was his first tweet on April 2:

“Tesla Goes Bankrupt: Palo Alto, California, April 1, 2018. Despite intense efforts to raise money, including a last-ditch mass sale of Easter Eggs….”

“…we are sad to report that Tesla has gone completely and totally bankrupt. So bankrupt, you can’t believe it.” Then, Musk released another funny statement:

“There are many chapters of bankruptcy, and as critics so rightly pointed out, Tesla has them ‘all,’ including Chapter 14 and a half (the worst one).”

Next, he pretended to lose consciousness after drinking tequila due to his devastating bankruptcy. Here is the tweet:

“Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by “Teslaquilla” bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks.”

“This is not a forward-looking statement because, obviously, what’s the point? Happy New Month!”

More importantly, he suggested releasing the “Teslaquilla” in his following tweets. Five years later, we have a similar drink called the Cyberbier!

Conclusion

Electric car company Tesla released an alcoholic drink called the Cyberbier. The company based its design on the Cybertruck, and the beverage costs roughly $30 a bottle.

Aside from this unique drink, Elon Musk has made more unusual business moves. For example, he recently replaced the Twitter logo with Dogecoin.
