Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple Eyed for Role in Marvel’s Venom 3
Juno Temple, the actress who’s known for her role as Keeley Jones on Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, is in talks to join Tom Hardy in the upcoming Venom 3 in an unannounced role, according to a Deadline report. A source close to the production confirms to IGN that Temple is in negotiations, but a deal has not yet closed.
Not much is known about the upcoming Venom film, but it was previously reported that Kelly Marcel would be directing the third movie. And back in June 2022, Hardy confirmed that the script for Venom 3 was complete in an Instagram post but didn’t reveal any details about it.
Before this, Marcel wrote the screenplay for Venom and its sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage. She’ll also be producing the film alongside Hardy. In addition to that, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker will also be producing.
The first Venom movie came out in 2018 and starred Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom, and throughout the film, the two had to learn how to live with one another. The 2021 sequel introduced Cletus Kasady and Carnage, a Spider-Man / Venom villain played by Woody Harrelson. But by the end of the second film, Eddie had been temporarily transported into the MCU. He left behind a small piece of the symbiote before leaving, which could have major implications for both the Venom franchise and MCU.
