Tecno: Tecno Camon 20 series launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

Chinese tech brand Tecno has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of a new smartphone lineup, the Tecno Camon 20 series. The company claims that the Camon 20 series, which includes three new phones will offer “disruptive camera capabilities” and has “unforgettable” looks and design. The smartphones have a leather finish and reflective dual-appearance back panel. Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro smartphones have been officially launched and will be available soon. Meanwhile, the Camon 20 Premier 5G is yet to be unveiled and is expected to arrive after a month. “This new camera-centric range of smartphones brings together innovative imaging technologies delivering advanced portrait and video capabilities that let users record those emotional motion moments in sharper detail, while its striking aesthetic design and powerful performance complete an all-around exceptional user experience,” Tecno Mobile India CEO said while commenting on the launch event.Tecno Camon 20 series: Price and availability

series: Key specs and designBoth smartphones in this lineup have the unique Camon Puzzle design and sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED dot-in display that supports Full HD+ resolution and a 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. Camon 20 series smartphones also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor that claims to give “99.8% recognition accuracy and 0.35 sec faster unlock.”The vanilla Camon 20 variant comes powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset backed with an Arm Mali-G52 graphics unit along with 8GB RAM (16GB RAM with memory Fusion) and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. While the Pro model features the Dimensity 8050 processor with a storage variant of up to 256GB. With special features like RGBW Pro technology (that helps in low-light conditions), Portrait Master and in-body stabilisation, Tecno seems to have put a lot of effort into the photography part of the Camon 20 lineup. The devices with Sensor-Shift OIS Anti-Shaking Technology claim to compensate for shakes up to 5,000 times per second. The Camon 20 houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP+2MP+AI lens. On the other hand, the Pro variant is equipped 64MP+2MP+2MP triple camera module that supports OIS and can record 4K videos. These smartphones also pack a 5000mAh battery unit coupled with up to 45W flash charging.
