Teachmint appoints Sanjay Radhakrishnan to head strategy and excellence

Edtech firm Teachmint has announced the appointment of Sanjay Radhakrishnan as the strategy and excellence head, said a statement issued on Monday.

With close to 26 years of corporate experience, Radhakrishnan will play a critical role in devising a growth strategy for the firm as it aims at taking digitisation to schools and educational institutes across India.

“I am deeply passionate about building for education in India and believe that Teachmint is at the cusp of solving a deep-rooted problem in our formal education system. With its strong technology prowess and deep insights into the challenges faced by schools in their digital journey, the firm is quickly responding to the emerging digital landscape for educational institutes across the globe and has the wherewithal to make this impact,” said Radhakrishnan.

Before Teachmint, Radhakrishnan worked for 12 years at Tata Interactive Services where he was responsible for driving transformation and donned multiple hats from chief operations officer to chief commercial officer to chief strategy officer. Prior to that, he was associated with ICICI Prudential Life since its inception and worked there for close to a decade in various capacities.

In his new stint, he will further the company’s footprint across key geographies and build deeper engagements with customers.

“Across India as well as emerging markets, there is a significant shift happening in adoption of technology across schools and institutes and we are certain that Sanjay’s invaluable expertise will further aid us in our mission to digitise schools and help them unlock their highest potential,” said Mihir Gupta, cofounder and CEO of Teachmint.
