Website Discounts for Teachers enables educators to claim big discounts on their holidays this summer, with their latest batch of deals.

Offers range from 25 per cent off on hotel booking sites such as hotels.com and booking.com, money back on flights with Jet2holidays, and even discounts with various cruise companies across the world.

There are also deals listed on their website with people like TUI and easyJet, with options on both long and short haul trips available.

Research by the discount provider has revealed that 96 per cent of teachers will struggle to afford holidays this year, with a quarter saying they won’t be able to go away.

Storm Postlethwaite, Managing Director of Discounts for Teachers, said: “The cost-of-living crisis has made it incredibly difficult for teachers in the UK to enjoy holidays.

“Our survey reveals that they’re always paying a premium when travelling abroad, despite the common misconception that teachers are able to enjoy multiple holidays a year.

“Educational professionals work incredibly hard and deserve to enjoy their holidays stress-free, yet financial pressures often inhibit this and make it harder for them to go on holiday.

“Discounts for Teachers is proud to help support those working in the education sector, providing workers with discounts and offers from retailers to help alleviate some of the financial burden of everyday life.”

Meanwhile, a money expert revealed how the day you book and the day you fly can impact how expensive your flights are.
