Tea cafe chain Chai Point enters Amritsar with store near Golden Temple
The launch is expected to widen its consumer base by leveraging the software and hardware capabilities of its myChai brewing system, it said in a statement.
“We are excited to bring the Chai Point experience to a city known for its exceptional food culture. With our innovation-backed myChai brewing systems and a wide array of food offerings, we are looking forward to delighting our customers,” said Amuleek Singh Bijral, cofounder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Chai Point.
Currently, Chai Point has a retail network of 180 stores across nine major cities and over 3,500 workplace community hubs covering 43 cities through its brewing systems. In the last month, it has opened 18 stores in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and the NCR.
The company said the new store has a premium design with a contemporary environment inside a historic building and careful attention given to its scale and original texture.
“While staying true to the building’s typology of the space, we paid homage to the building’s former stature by using materials and furniture relevant to the times when it was still an active palace,” added Bijral.
