Taylor Swift tour tickets reach $22K a day after going on sale
There may be some “Bad Blood” between Taylor Swift and her fans.
Tickets to see Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour, which went on sale Tuesday, have already reached sky-high prices, reports the Guardian.
According to Ticketmaster, which crashed several times, the site suffered a “historically unprecedented demand” of fans clamoring to see Swift’s first tour in five years. Tickets to her show cost between $49 and $449 each.
Several Swifties, a name the singer’s fans call themselves, reportedly saw tickets that cost up to $22,000 on the ticket reseller site StubHub.
And several fans said they spent eight hours in a virtual queue on Ticketmaster after tickets went on sale before they were unexpectedly kicked out of line.
In an effort to alleviate stress on Ticketmaster, several ticket presales were postponed.
Taylor announced her highly-anticipated “The Eras Tour” earlier this month.
The Post reached out to StubHub and Swift for comment.
“I’m a failure as a father,” wrote one father in a newsletter about the ticket debacle.
“The one time my daughter really needed me to come through for her, I ended up on the outside looking in, banished to the barren badlands of the Taylor Swift ticket waiting list wasteland.”
